MOSFET Voltage Regulator:
The MOSFET voltage regulator rectifier is designed to run cooler than traditional shunt and OEM diode-style regulators. Its overheat protection temporarily switches the unit off to allow it to cool down, helping prevent damage from overheating.

Before Installing the Stator and Voltage Regulator:
- Check the AC output of the stator.
- Replace any burned or corroded connectors on the stator and regulator/rectifier.
- Check and repair any melted wiring.
- Apply high-temperature dielectric grease to all connectors.
The stator may use a different wire colour code from the original. All wires are installed in the correct order. Do not change the wiring configuration. This stator is designed as a direct plug-in replacement.
Always use thread-locking compound when installing the stator. If the stator includes a pickup coil, ensure the air gap is correctly adjusted. Set it as close as possible, but no less than 0.010 inches.
Opposite connector (main harness side) included. These connectors are commonly affected by melting, corrosion and defects, which can cause recurring electrical problems.
Warning: Risk of electric shock. Disconnect the battery before servicing. Installation should be carried out by a qualified technician to avoid malfunction.
