VACANCY - MOTORCYCLE SALES MANAGER

 Motorcycle Sales Manager – Full Time, Permanent Position


Are you passionate about motorcycles and enjoy sales and good customer service?  Auckland City Honda Motorcycles has a vacancy for a motivated sales person with excellent motorcycle knowledge and sales experience.

MAIN DUTIES:

  • Engage promptly and professionally with visitors to the showroom
  • Relay a high level of product knowledge, while understanding, comparing and contrasting competitor models
  • Ensure ultimate showroom presentation with appropriate display of product and point of sale material
  • Qualify buyers by understanding their requirements
  • Organise customer test rides
  • Maintain a consistent quotation policy for sales, trade-ins and on-behalf sales
  • Close sales by overcoming objections, negotiate, and take the opportunity to cross sell additional parts and accessories, finance and insurance products
  • Provide new vehicle to customer through established delivery process; including operating features, warranty and paperwork
  • Maintain in-house CRM system to encourage loyalty and repeat business
  • Ensure all motorcycles are listed on current advertising medium with clear images and full, consistent descriptions
  • Work with Dealer Principal to effect appropriate forecasting and ordering of stock
  • Work closely with Marketing Dept to implement and deliver in store promotions, demo days and customer events
  • Motorent - motorcycle hire. Deal with customers when they arrive to pick up/drop off hire bikes.
  • Promote UDC & MTF finance and motorcycle insurance to customers

 

EXPERIENCE AND ATTRIBUTES:

  • A passion for motorcycles and motorcycling
  • Proven retail sales experience
  • Results oriented with a customer centred focus
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including conflict resolution
  • Able to demonstrate problem solving skills and show initiative
  • Must be capable of working independently, effectively managing time and workflow
  • Full car and motorcycle license is essential

Wages: Hourly rate + commission
Hours: approx 44hr pw:  Monday – Friday 8.00 – 5.30     Saturday 9.00-3.00
