WORKSHOP SERVICE MANAGER

Auckland City Honda Motorcycles are looking for an experienced WORKSHOP SERVICE MANAGER to join the team.

          

 We are a company of motorcycle enthusiasts that work, ride and race together.

The Service Manager is the key point of contact between our customers and our busy on-site workshop. So a positive customer relations attitude is priority.

Auckland City Honda is New Zealand owned, well established (20 years) with a leading brand of motorcycles and power equipment. Situated in a convenient location, next to Penrose train station & close to Ellerslie motorway exit


Key duties:

  • Booking in workshop jobs

  • Discussing the customers repair requirements

  • Making up Job Cards

  • Communicating the cost of repairs to the customer

  • Updating customer on progress

  • Invoicing

  • Service Reminders

  • Measuring Workshop performance

  • Working closely with our motorcycle mechanics


Skills and attributes required:

  • Must have knowledge and a passion for motorcycles

  • Good knowledge of motorcycle mechanics

  • Computer literate

  • Excellent communication & customer service skills both written & verbal

  • Must be organised, efficient, patient and able to work under pressure

  • Must have a friendly and welcoming demeanor

  • Reliable and articulate

  • Positive ‘can-do’ attitude

  • Current car and motorcycle licences

    Training on existing company systems will be given

    Hours:
    Full time - 45 hours per week
    Weekdays 8:00am – 5:30pm / rostered occasional Saturday 9:00 – 3:00pm
